Petra, tell us: what are your duties as a Supply Chain Coordinator?
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you are the extension of the customer. Together with the team and other departments, we ensure that the shipment goes from A to B with the right instructions. I also, for example, arrange emergency transport, assist customers with stock counts and 'reworks' (such as repackaging, conversion or quality checks) and solve any problems. One day I am mainly busy with entering orders and the next day is filled with solving irregularities. No 1 working day is the same and that is what makes the work so much fun for me.
And how does that feel?
When everything is finally sorted out, that gives me real satisfaction! In this job, you really have to be able to change gear. The variety of activities makes the work varied. I also enjoy being involved in MOL Logistics projects and client projects.
What do you like most about your work?
My work is hectic, but that gives me energy. I like the contact with our clients, most of the time by phone or e-mail. We also have personal contact, for example during the customer contact days.
What do you find positive about MOL Logistics as an employer?
The company has an informal atmosphere. Despite the size of the company, you are certainly not a number. You can really be yourself here.
Why would you recommend our company to candidates?
MOL Logistics is a nice company to work for where you get plenty of opportunities to follow training courses. Furthermore, we regularly undertake fun things with the department. The annual barbecue is always fun.
You have been with us since May 2011. What opportunities have you had to develop yourself?
I followed a coaching course, a communication skills course and a hazardous substances and GDP course. All very nice and instructive to do.
Can you briefly describe MOL Logistics?
International working environment with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
