Opening of Schiphol air cargo office feels like a fresh start

On Friday 19 January 2018, we opened our doors to customers and suppliers at our Schiphol air cargo office. Last December, the air cargo colleagues moved from Shannonweg to Prestwickweg. In terms of kilometres not so far apart, in terms of feeling all the more. How? You can read that in this article.

Official opening air cargo office

The fresh, MOL blue-white office had to be officially opened, of course. Therefore, we welcomed some forty customers and suppliers to join us in a toast. To officially open the office, Sales Manager Chris Goeverneur gave a short and powerful speech. Of course, we also took care of the inner man. An assortment of freshly prepared snacks such as spicy pumpkin soup, quiche and marinated balls were eagerly accepted by those present.

One team in one location

For the guests it turned out to be a good moment to get acquainted with the people behind the telephone and email. Both the import and export colleagues of MOL Logistics were present, along with a delegation of management and supervisors. This is very important for our clients, since they can come to this office for all their airfreight matters. That is a lot easier if they know who they are dealing with. From the office we also have access to the warehouse: this way we have full control of all incoming and outgoing airfreight shipments.

Around 19.00 hours, we closed the drinks. The attendees received a bag with Sake (Japanese rice wine) and other goodies to thank them for coming. MOL Logistics looks back on a nice evening, which we can call a 'fresh start'.
