Gas measurements and degassing
Moths, cockroaches, beetles, mites and other vermin are the terror of every shipper. Without protective measures, containerised cargo can become worthless. In addition, many countries prohibit the import of life forms that may threaten the ecosystem. The use of these gases is subject to strict regulations. It must remain safe for people and the environment. Therefore, we support our customers with so-called gas measurements and the natural or forced degassing of their containers.
When to perform a gas measurement?
Containers that require a customs inspection (fyco or physical inspection) are also checked for the presence of gas. In addition, we want to ensure the safety of you and our colleagues. Therefore, we check all container flows from country of origin to product type and check for gases if legislation or safety requires it.
Choosing the most efficient method
Measuring the gases in containers is unavoidable. To avoid delays before, during and after gassing, we offer the most efficient methods.
On-site measurements
Depending on the content and the place where the container is unloaded, the gas measurements can take place at different places.
