Our Rotterdam office consists of 14 people divided between an import and export department and sales activities. The office is managed by the Branch Manager Sea & Rail. Together with the colleagues in the Rotterdam office, you are continuously working on improving the service towards our customers and MCS in particular.
Your role as freight forwarder
As a freight forwarder, you will be part of an experienced team consisting of 8 colleagues. In doing so, you will handle export shipments via sea freight and rail transport completely independently from A to Z. Both LCL and FCL mixed together.
Of course, you take into account the timely invoicing for the services rendered and ensure that the customers and their shipments are handled to their satisfaction.
Our working method is open and transparent, and we want our employees to take responsibility for the entire process from issuing rates to invoicing. Within the team, you assist your colleagues, just as your fellow team members assist you. You can work independently and have a high sense of responsibility. You communicate well, quickly and clearly. You do not do things by halves.
